• Aluminum windings connect to bus bar style termination equipped with NEMA standard holes for compression style or ring terminals.
• UL CLass 220°C insulation system with 150°C temperature rise at full load and a maximum ambient 0f 40°C.
• NEMA-3R, ventilated, cabinet style, floor mount enclosure suitable for indoor or outdoor use. No extra rainshields required for outdoor use.
• Vibration dampening pads provide quiet operation.
• Wall Mounting brackets are available in sizes up to 75 kVA.

Custom Designed Wind Turbine Transformers

OEM, Please have on hand the following information to expedite the quoting process.

1. Phase Requirements (single or three phase).
2. Line voltage from source - primary input.
3. Load Voltage of load connected to transformer - secondary output.
4. Frequency (in Hertz) of current source. This must match frequency requirements of connected load.
5. Load amps of connected load.
6. Type of Service: General Purpose, Industrial Control, in which the transformer is either open or enclosed.

• In most cases, transformers may be selected by answering these six questions. Special applications may require additional information for sizing. Such cases might include installations where the power factor is less than unity, harmonics are present in significant amounts, motors are started and stopped frequently, high ambient temperatures (above 40'C), or a special temperature rise is desired. High BIL and variable input/output voltages of up to 13.8 kV is possible. In such instances, Dongan will work with the OEM customer in address these needs.
